PG: No. RK: No, amazing producers make great quality wines at great price points. Best bottle of wine under $50? AE: Rudi Pichler Federspiel Grüner Veltliner ($14+). PG: For white, I like Montagny 1er Cru la Grande Roche 2016 ($23+). For red, I like G.D. Vajra Albe 2014 ($39+). RK: There are too many options, but as an Italian wine-drinker most of the time, I like ARPEPE Rosso di Valtellina Nebbiolo ($33+). If you had to enjoy one type of wine for the rest of your life, what would it be? AE: If price point weren't an issue, Grand Cru White Burgundy. It's 100% Chardonnay from Burgundy, France. PG: Barbaresco. RK: Nebbiolo—it's by far my favorite grape in the world. Famously grown in the north of Italy in subregions like Barbaresco, Barolo, or even Valtellina. It's an amazing light-bodied red with more taste than what meets the eye. Cork tops or screw tops? AE: Indifferent. PG: Cork tops. RK: Cork tops, it's the romantic expression of opening a wine bottle. Anna Englehart was raised in Saratoga Springs, NY and discovered her love for hospitality and wine while working at an upscale Italian restaurant. She completed the sommelier training program at the International Culinary Center in Manhattan and moved to Dallas, TX to further her education and career in 2017. Anna recently passed the Level 2 Certified Sommelier exam hosted by the Court of Master Sommeliers and hopes to continue to grow throughout the Court. Priscilla Garcia is a full-time sommelier and part-time student studying Diagnostic Medical Sonography in Dallas, TX. Her two passions are wine and medicine and she recently helped develop the wine list for a new Latin restaurant in Dallas with her mentors, Anna Englehart and Danilo Di Nardo. Roberto A. Kates II was born and raised in the coastal town of Mazatlán, Mexico. He left his hometown at an early age to pursue a career in the food and beverage industry and quickly fell in love with talking to guests about wine. He moved to Dallas, TX in 2015 and ever since, his life has revolved around wine.
