20 Cinnamon Chip Scones Serves 12 Ingredients 2 cups All-Purpose Flour 2 tsp Baking Powder ½ tsp Baking Soda ½ tsp Salt 2 Tbsp Sugar 1 stick Butter 1 cup Cinnamon or Butterscotch Chips 1 Egg, separated 1 tsp Vanilla Extract ¾ cup Buttermilk Directions: • Preheat oven to 375. • In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and sugar. • Cut in butter with a pastry cutter until mixture resembles coarse meal. • Stir in cinnamon chips. • In another bowl, combine egg yolk, vanilla, and buttermilk. • Stir into the dry ingredients until combined. Turn the dough onto a floured surface. • Handle as gently as possible; pat into a 10-inch circle, ½ -inch thick, and cut into 2-inch circles. • Place scones on an ungreased baking sheet. Lightly beat egg white with a little water. • Brush tops of scones with egg wash. Dust with sugar. • Bake for 16-22 minutes. Do not overbake. • Cool on wire rack. Hot Breakfast Sausage 30 oz Frozen Shredded Hash Browns 1 tsp Salt ½ tsp Pepper ¼ tsp Garlic Powder 8 oz Cheddar Cheese, shredded 2 cups Eggs 2 cups Milk Directions: • Preheat oven to 350. • In a large skillet, cook sausage until no longer pink. Drain fat. • Add hash browns to skillet and cook until lightly browned. • Place hash browns in bottom of lightly-greased 9x13 pan. Top with sausage and cheese. • Whisk together eggs, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and milk. Pour over hash brown mixture. • Bake, uncovered, for 35-40 minutes. • Top with peanut butter, powdered sugar, or syrup.
