Honey-Grilled Flank Steak Serves 1 - 2 Jesse Uribe Associa Community Management Professionals Orlando, FL Ingredients 2 lbs Flank Steak ¾ cup Vegetable Oil 1 Small Onion, chopped ¼ cup Soy Sauce ¼ cup Honey 2 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar 1½ tsp Garlic Salt 1½ tsp Ground Ginger ½ tsp Pepper Directions • Score steak diagonally across the grain at ¾-inch intervals. Place steak in large, heavy-duty zip-top bag or dish. • Combine oil and remaining ingredients, then pour over steak. Seal or cover. • Marinate in the refrigerator for 8-24 hours, turning over halfway through. • Remove steak from marinade and reserve marinade. • Bring marinade to a boil in a small saucepan and set aside. • Grill steak, uncovered, over medium-hot coals for 8-10 minutes on each side or to desired doneness. Baste with marinade the last 5 minutes. • Slice steak diagonally across the grain to serve, and enjoy! Beer Cheese Dip Serves 8 – 10 Libby Hutchinson The Smith Management Group, An Associa ® Company St. Louis, MO Ingredients 16 oz Cream Cheese, room temperature 2 cups Cheddar Cheese, shredded 1 oz Ranch Dressing Mix 12 oz Beer 1 lb Pretzels Directions • Mix cream cheese and ranch dressing mix in a large bowl. • Add beer a little at a time and stir. • Mix in shredded cheese. • Chill dip overnight. • Serve with pretzels. Cowboy Caviar Serves 6 - 8 Fran Pawlak Associa Canyon Gate Management Albuquerque, NM Ingredients 2 tbsp Red Wine Vinegar 2 tsp Hot Sauce 1½ tsp Canola Oil 1 clove Fresh Garlic, minced ⅛ tsp Pepper 1 Avocado, firm but ripe 15 oz can Black Beans, drained 11 oz can Corn Kernels, drained ⅔ cup Fresh Green Onion, thinly sliced ¼ cup Fresh Cilantro, chopped ½ lb Roma Tomatoes, deseeded & coarsely chopped 1 bag Tortilla Chips Directions • Mix first five ingredients in a large bowl. • Cut avocado into ½-inch squares. • Add to vinegar mixture and gently coat. • Add remaining ingredients to avocado mixture. • Add salt to taste. • Serve with chips. 11
