PLAY DAYS PLAY DAYS Four outdoor games for the whole family. Spikeball $70 Ever want to play volleyball but don't have the space for a net? Enter Spikeball. Taking the core elements of volleyball but with a small, circular, trampoline-like net on the ground, Spikeball creates healthy competition in limited spaces. In the two-on-two game, a player spikes the ball down onto the net so it bounces up at their opponents. The opposing players volley the ball up to three times before spiking it back down on the net. The game continues until a team fails to return the ball to the net. Spikeball is the perfect pick for a family of four or a large group wanting to host a tournament. Crossnet $100 With worldwide acclaim, Crossnet takes the playground classic four square and adds a volleyball-style net split four ways. Set up the net, then invite each of the four players to assume a position in a quadrant. The player in the fourth section serves the ball to the player in the second section, and from there, all players must keep the ball in the air. If the ball hits the ground in a player's section, they get eliminated, the player in the fourth position gets a point, and everyone rotates spots until one player scores 11 points. A summertime favorite, Crossnet is sure to spark fast-paced fun. Kan Jam $40 Kan Jam is a disc-throwing game with a simple setup and big-time excitement. A Kan Jam set includes two kans and a disc. In the two-versus-two sport, members of the same team stand 50 feet apart at opposite kans—goal buckets with an open top and a small window on the front. One teammate acts as the disc thrower, and the other the deflector, who hits the disc to redirect it into the kan. Teams alternate chances, and teammates alternate roles. Points are earned when the disc lands in the kan with or without assistance. If the disc lands inside the smaller window without help, it's an instant win. A sudden-death contest, Kan Jam calls for top-tier teamwork and a bit of strategy. Bottle Bash $50 Bottle Bash combines horseshoes and disc golf with a few twists. Find a flat surface, place the game's two poles 20 to 40 feet apart, and set the plastic bottles on top of the poles. Teams of two will stand behind their pole, and players will rotate throwing the disc and attempting to knock off their opponent's bottle. You can defend your bottle and try to catch the disc or your bottle if it falls off the stand. Points are awarded when either object hits the ground. While it sounds easy enough, scoring can be difficult and make for some intense, but enjoyable, matchups. PASS THE TIME 30
