HEALTH & WELLNESS 10 COMING HOME MAGAZINE HOW TO START RUNNING WHEN YOU AREN'T A RUNNER. Why Should You Run, Anyway? Running isn't only a great cardio workout that can build muscle and strengthen bones, but it's also a wonderful way to stay active and enhance your mental health and quality of life. Running or jogging for three to seven miles per week can decrease your chances of high cholesterol, stroke, diabetes, and heart disease, and reduce cognitive stress levels by up to 58%. There are many resources and apps, like Couch to 5K, that'll give you a schedule, hold you accountable, and help you see it through to the end. Trust us, getting out the door is the hardest part! Ready, Set,
