I've always been a planner. I buy
birthday gifts months in advance, lay out
my clothes the night before, and choose
my weekly dinners every Sunday. It may
sound like a bit much, but I find that life is
a little lighter, and a lot more manageable,
when I'm prepared.
During fall, it pays to think ahead. As
calendars swell and to-do lists expand in
real time, even small acts of preparation
make all the difference for future you.
Some forethought creates space to savor
the present.
Packed with practical tips and seasonal
inspiration, the spirit of forward-planning
floats throughout this issue. Inside, you'll
find a fall weatherstripping guide to make
your home comfortable (P. 26) and cozy
chili recipes perfect for meal prep (P. 28).
We're also sharing back-to-school best
practices (P. 32), a car essentials checklist
(P. 23), and hacks to extend the life of your
fall décor (P. 10). And for those moments
of overwhelm, there's a breathwork
handbook (P. 38) and gentle mindset shifts
you can practice anywhere (P. 14).
Thank you for being here. I hope these
pages help you feel rooted and ready for
whatever life serves you.
