TIME
Time seems to fly by during the holidays, and managing yours can be tough. Try these time-management
tips so you don't get your tinsel in a tangle.
Less Stress
• Say "no." You can't do it all. It's perfectly okay to say "no"
to things you don't have the time or energy to handle.
• Ask for and accept help. If you've got a lot on your plate
and someone asks to help, let them. There will always be
smaller tasks you can hand off.
• Shop online. Skip the long lines and packed parking
garages and leverage time-saving apps, services, and
subscriptions. It's easier than ever to get your groceries,
meals, and gifts delivered with companies like Shipt,
Instacart, and Amazon Prime.
More Joy
• Set an intention. Establish your priorities for the season
early. Do you want to spend more time with friends? Hang
out with family? Volunteer? Decide what you really want
to do and make it happen.
• Maintain healthy habits. You need to care for yourself to
be the best version of yourself. Get quality sleep, eat well,
and don't overdo it when you need a break.
• Keep work at work. The end of the year can be busy,
but that doesn't mean you should feel obligated to work
overtime unless necessary. Unplug, take your PTO, and
use auto-responders when you're OOO.
